More Summer 2013 . . .

4th of July parade in Monument

 Grammie Camp!!!  While Cory and Adam went on a short vacation, Angella and I played Grammie Camp with Emma, Eilis, Hollie, Samantha, Paul, and Lily.  What a great time we all had!

We spent a day working in the yard, raking, weeding, digging, moving rocks, and planting flowers.  The kids each got to plant their own petunias.

We couldn't have Grammie Camp without a day at the Bowling Alley.

 We finished off the week at the "Y" swimming with all of the kids.  We had so much fun!

Summer 2013

 Kate, Kim, and I had a wonderful "girls week" in Iowa City.  We hit the outlet stores in nearby Williamsburg and played "What Not to Wear".  Nothing is better than fashion advise from your very hip daughters!

I really wanted to visit the park where the Mormon pioneers built their handcarts before their long trek west.  You can see the girls were less excited . . .

However they perked right up when we stopped at Dane's Dairy.  Undisputedly, the best ice cream ever!!!
