HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!  Thank you so much to Kevin for your service in defending our country, mentoring and setting an example for so many young airmen, and taking such good care of the family during all of our adventures ~
What great memories we have -
Kadena AB, Okinawa 1981 - 1984
Spokane WA 1984 - 1989

Yokota AB 1989 - 1994
Kadena AB, Okinawa - 1994 - 1997
Air Force Academy, CO 1997 - 2000
Osan AB, Korea - 2000 - 2002

Also wanted to let you know that because Memorial Day is really set aside to honor former military members who have passed away, for the last couple of years, Chris' brother, Cameron has taken flowers to the cemetery for Liggett and Ruth.  It is such a thoughtful act of service that means a lot.

It has been a good week for our family.  School is out for everyone, except Sayer (he has one more week). I finished up at Timberview (except for doing a little organizing on Friday).  Samantha, Paul, and Eilis started their Summer jobs this week.  Samantha and Paul are working at Jellystone RV park, and Eilis is manning the snack bar at the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club.  Blythe and Grant are lifeguarding, Spencer is still working at the "fancy, shmancy" restaurant, Emma is holding down two jobs - receptionist at a law office, and server at the country club, and Hollie is dog/house sitting for me in June and July.  Did I miss anyone?????  Oh Yes, Max - When Max gets home from Vietnam he will be hitting the pavement, looking for a job in Provo.

I realized at the end of this school year, how quickly our kids are growing and getting older so I thought it would be fun to share some then and now photos -

I think what I love more than just how adorable, handsome, and beautiful they are, is the fact that they are kind and always willing to serve others.  What a blessing you are in our lives!

FUN things that happened this week and Sunday Selfies -

Paul and Cory spent the weekend in Denver at a soccer tournament ⚽

Ben's school had a continuation program so he is now an official 1st grader! 👍

Blythe got her braces off this week, and has the brightest smile ever! 😁

Chris and Max were able to attend church today in Hanoi.  They will be heading home this week with a stop in Korea to see Chris' sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Clint,  and a stop in Salt Lake City to see Phil.  Travel Safe!

AND REALLY BIG NEWS OUT OF IOWA 💖
Sayre gave his first talk in Primary today.  He was pretty nervous about doing it, but Jonathan practiced with him yesterday, and they went to Church early today so he could practice in the Primary room.  He did an amazing job and we are so proud of him for doing something that was hard.  Way to go Sayre.!  Below is the video Kate sent me - I love it so much!😊
