WELCOME HOME TO OUR FAVORITE MISSIONARY!

Best wishes to Max who served as a wonderful missionary in the Anaheim California Mission.  I know he was a dedicated servant of the Lord in teaching the Vietnamese brothers and sisters in his area and will be greatly missed.  

But moving on as we all must - his plans are to join some of his missionary companions in Provo when school starts in January.

HOPEFULLY, he is hearing the call to stop by Colorado BEFORE he heads back to school, and HOPEFULLY, he will bring a sibling (Grant?) with him.

It's such a wonderful way to start the Holiday Season.  The North Stake again hosted the Christmas Creche for the community.  I took my neighbor Kirah when she got home from school on Friday. She had invited me to a "Tea" (her grandmother is English) to celebrate her 16th birthday but I wasn't able to go because of my surgery, so I invited her to the Creche and then we went out to dinner.  She loved it and we decided next year we would make her Mom go along with us.  Dad and I went again on Saturday with some friends who are not members and they also thought it was wonderful.  

Adam and Cory were able to go and they were even brave enough to watch the live Christmas story outside, with the animals, in the very cold weather/wind we had that night.  

This is not the best photo - looks like Adam has some kind of aura about him (maybe he's just thawing out from the cold) but we got to meet Paul's friend Maren. She is a cutie and didn't seem to mind the craziness of Sendai.

Not only did Hollie decorate our house this year, but she took her mad decorating skills home and came up with this great idea.  

She found a pressure rod downstairs and put it up in the hallway of her home then covered it with garland.  I love it!

Angella and Eilis have started a weekly baking challenge.  Yesterday it was cinnamon rolls.  YUM!  I can't even remember the last time I made cinnamon rolls, but I think they probably weren't that good. 😐 If anyone else is up for the challenge this is the link to the recipe she used.  - https://amberskitchencooks.com/heavenly-cinnamon-rolls/#recipe
